Ben is a trained counsellor with over five years in private practice, offering virtual therapy. Ben’s approach is integrative, and he aligns with Transpersonal, Narrative, Somatic, and Systems approaches. More details can be see in COUNSELLING

Ben also offers spiritual direction services for clients wishing to explore their spirituality while space is being held. Ben’s academic background includes religious studies, and these services are offered to all clients regardless of faith or spiritual background. More information can be found at SPIRITUAL DIRECTION

Aside from his professional counselling work, Ben is also engaged in research and education. Ben holds a Bachelor in the areas of Medieval, Classical, and Religious studies. Ben’s particular research interests lie in the area of folklore and folk religion in the Classical, Medieval, and Early Modern periods with emphasis in the areas of polytheism, witchcraft/magic/cunningcraft, and folk religion. He is particularly interested in the development of folklore, story and their intersection with modern movements such as NeoPaganism and Witchcraft.

As part of this research, Ben regularly speaks at conferences and events; and offers classes on a diversity of subjects. Ben’s published work includes Ancestral Whispers: A Guide to Developing Ancestral Veneration Practices (Llewellyn Worldwide, 2023) and he is currently working on a few projects for Crossed Crow Books.
